Years ago on the farm in Scotland we use to use calor gas a 32 lb bottle and a calor gas blow torch gun attachment you can get smaller bottles which will get things cheery hot with the aid of some fire bricks.There is also the smaller version of the act/oxy bottle arrangement try your machine mart to put you in the right direction to buy.

Hello, BigJBB do you know where I could get some small bottles of MAPP in Aberdeen? Its for loosening siezed bolts on one of my projects.

I picked a can up from B&Q the other week, they sell the MAPP Gas and Propane for the BERNZOMATIC torches.
