Airfix 1/24th Mosquito

got an email from airfix saying this was being released this year - i believe airfix did some work on a moulding in the 70,s - anyone got any info on this or any other releases - cheers, dave

Probably following through on thier 1/24th fighter series. Perhaps a 1/24th Mossie was a bit over the top at the time.

That would be quite an impressive kit though if they produce one of those.

There's no date but Airfix have it listed on thier site for release later in 08!

Only problem with the mosquito is with the wooden construction there isn't much detail to represent! Saying that though if the old fuselage seams don't match up too well would be a dead easy filler job!

I must agree though that in 1/24 it would be a pretty impressive model!

Mosquito was one of my fav aircraft during ww2, be cool if they gave you the wood to make it out of?

I love the Mosquito. It is a nice plane. Be interesting to see this. Especially in 1/24th.
