1/48 F2H Banshee

does anyone happen to have either the collect-aire or testors 1/48 F2H Banshee they would be willing to sell?

im planning as a long term project a VFA-102 Diamondbacks memorial build.

i have the F4D Skyray and the F/A-18F Superhornet, i just need an F-4B Phantom II and a F-14A Tomcat (but those two arent hard to find)

....the Banshee is lol.

so if anyone can help me out, please let me know.

thanks,

Richard

The Testors/Hawk is not a bad model. Just throw away the landing gear, scratch build the gear, cockpit and intakes. The canopy is way under scale so if you can find the Monogram F9F Panther canopy use it. You can buy them from Revellogram. It is actually close to that of the Banshees. I built the photobird and fighter versions using the method I described. They both came out nice. The model is an early F2H, I believe a 1, so it would be suitable for the Korean War.
