Howdy Flagship,

First let me welcome you to the forum, we're glad you found us, we look forward to seeing you around. Please feel free to comment on any thread, supply advice, ask questions ect.

Now, on to your inquiry. I looked everywhere i can thihnk of and other than a $108 (US) wooden model on ebay I couldnt find a plastic kit of the augusta/bell 609. below you will find the link for that particular aircraft: BA-609 Bell-Agusta Tiltrotor BA609 Airplane Wood Model - eBay (item 170083438746 end time Mar-16-08 00:06:04 PDT)

I also searched all my usual suspects and the closest I could come would be a bell xv-3 convertiplane see below:

#AA2013 1/72 scale
Bell XV-3 (XH-33) ConvertiplaneTilting rotors VTOL experiment
Unit price: US$32 / International shipping: US$3.00

Now the convertiplane is a resin kit and in 1:72 scale, I know its not what you asked for but you might look around anigrands site and see if there is something that might "work". You can find their site here: http://www.anigrand.com/catalog-main.htm There are several of the older "tiltrotor" prototype kits offered there, and although they are new kits, the subject matter is generally 50's and 60's....but there are some nice models there.
Other than the above site and ebay, I dont have a clue as to where to tell you to look unless Topping models produced one when they were in business, but that company produced Models for the actual aircraft manufacturers and the armed forces.
Sorry i couldnt be of more help to you but again, welcome to the forum.

Have a good day,

Greg
