    As Pete said there were a couple of weed killers that were persistent and could be sprayed into crack between paving stones etc and prevented seed germination, coupled with round-up, to kill existing growth and roots worked well. However the powers that be banned them. I don’t know anything...

    HKM 1/48 Avro Lancaster Mk1

    Great job, I had similar struggles with scratchbuilding a wing tip Light for the Arma Hobby Hurricane after the original was eaten by the carpet monster. After a lot of experimentation I found that AK’s Wolverine PVA did the job.

    Had both Lego and Meccano as a kid, although the Lego had to be shared with my sister. My son had tons of Lego, which we still have in 2 large skips in the Cellar. My wife plans to start building it when she retires.
