    Sorry didn't read it all as was walking so apologies if it was answered Did you protect the colour you were chipping back to with a varnish before applying the hair spray? As I've found in the past either this or not giving it enough time to dry can have the result you showed. Cavan

    Hi Paul With regards to using hair spray through the air brush I haven't had any trouble and didn't need to thin it. I use an Iwata revolution br and after use I just wipe it out then spray two lots of vallejo airbrush cleaner haven't had to strip it in a long time and sprays well every time...

    I'm with you on the cost of the tracks almost if not more than most actual models . eBay seems to be a good place to get tracks and PE only problem is you have to get them when they are up as you never know if they will be on there again.

    Hi I have found that if you do a few things it goes okay (most of the time ) - protect the colour your chipping back to with a decent satin varnish. - spray the hair spray into the lid then put this into your airbrush. - wait for the hairspray to fully dry (seems to take longer than you would...

    The model was base coated with Tamiya hull red then the base yellow and chipped back using the Hairspray technique.

    As I said this is very detailed and there is much etched brass. All of the ammo racks have EB straps and tie downs, and just a photo of it from above so far and a shot of the figure.
