Maiden voyage of HMAS Bathurst

Just thought I'd share these pics of Bathurst's maiden voyage... It went very well.

Thanks for your kind remarks lads.
Speed was just a little below scale but I was running on low heat as it was her first outing. I'll turn the wick up next time and go for broke. Duration was a little over 15 mins but with more heat that will obviously drop, if I can get ten minutes for a single run I'll be happy.

Thanks, I thought pic 4 was little over exposed - I think pic 5 shows the best detail even though there's no steam from the funnel.

is a lovely model bud . a nice change from the usual "lake cruisers" which are more commonly modelled.

could i ask as to the overall cost of such a model ?
if not is ok, i understand

No problem Adamz - total cost is about £350 including radio. Half of that is in the engine and boiler.
