Richard get Das Boot on DVD it is the best U-Boat movie ever.

Those pictures are fantastic and look so realistic. All credit to you Magpie and thanks again for sharing.

Of course if your sub is OK in the calm it shouldn't make any differrence in a storm. It should be the most seaworthy of model boats!

your sub does look rather realistic.

wow. iv only ever seen one real submarine, that was in the naval bay in sidney. they had a couple of destroyers as well but the sub was so cool. you see them just sitting there looking innocent, everything about them cries out stealth and destruction.

you may not be able to see any armourments on the outside, but you just know its made for sinister things. love em!

Thanks a lot guys!!! As Bunk said, it doesn't matter about waves if the boat's seaworthy. It can safely go under them, roll over etc with no probs, so waves just make it look cooler!
Bit tricky getting it in and out without hitting the cement wall though!
