My Type XX1 U-Boat

Thought I would share a few pics of My Type XX1 U-boat. The picture quality is a bit poor, so please be gentle with me !

Thanks for sharing the pics!

The sub looks great! Any plans on weathering the sub a bit more or did you plan on keeping it as is? Either way the model still looks very menacing!

Thanks Alan, the picture quality is a bit poor, The model has a subtle amount of weathering on her namely the welded Hull lines and tower, which doesn't show up on the pics. The model is of the German WW2 Type XX1 U-2540 and is just over 2 meters in length, the actual boat only lasted 4 moths from commission to being scuttled so wouldn't have weathered that much as the paint was extremely hardy. Just for interest she was raised from the seabed after 11 yrs down there and re commissioned into the German Navy, they built them good those Germans !. She is now a museum ship at Bremmerhaven and open to the public.
