ellesmere port ,

just a few pics, didnt get a chance to take many due to the crowds and weather being on and off.

a lovely lifeboat on display in the lock, finnished of bueatifuly.

an unusual model, a victorian pedillo with a doll on it, with fully functioing legs and head turns !

on display on the Surface warship association stand was this lovely hms illustrious, a work in progress.

this is one i purchased at the show, she`s around 4 1/2 feet long based on a virgin atlantic challenger hull. planked deck . powered by two 12v buhler motors she cuts through the water very gracefully (and quickly)

this is another of my purchases, a scratch built brave borderer on a sirmar hull, needs touched up here and there. powered by a graupner 700 turbo motor running 12v, not tested this yet, but she should move nicely !

well thats it really, apart from my impending divorce , ( i have another model winging it`s way to me as i type) it wasn`t easy to take pics, still a good day out and worth the travel .

Adz..

Adzam why does your Virgin boat have a tree growing out of it?

Illustrious looks good, a lot of work already gone in to it

Did anyone get a picture of the swan? I missed it on the water - saw the ducks though.
