Norina

this was the first time out today for Norina, a metcalf "hull pack" kit.
she is an accurate model of the Norina , a 34.96 m stern trawler which is currently "berthed". registered in fleetwood. the model is painted as the first owners took her from the slipway.

The build of this model has been carried out very well, even the cabin has it`s main seat and is surrounded with charts and instruments. the interior and mast lights illuminate.

she sailed nicely but slightly under powered for the size of the local pond, gaining no distance in a moderate breeze.powered by a very small motor, a 380 or maybe even smaller. will change this when i have current projects finnished.

But she does look nice on the water.

many thanx to No.6 for the pic.
