| | Guest | 3D, IMAC, Pattern etc It'd be nice to see some sub categories under aircraft for 3D, Fun Fly, IMAC, Profile and so on, so we can exchange techniques and so on.
It'd be great if this site turned into the Brit' version of RC Universe. You can get info on anything on RCU, but the snag for us is that it's all American based. We need a UK version and this could be it with a little effort. Just my 2 pence...
Good so far though - keep it comin'!

| | Guest | Hi Wowbagger I agree with you , the only thing stoping this site being like it is the members not posting their hints, tricks & info they have built up over the years they have been modeling like you say this could be a great site in time cos it covers all types of models , all the little hints ,tips put together make a very big reference book

| | Guest | Hi Maplegarth. Yep, once it gets started people will come to learn all the "how to's" of flying, construction, set up and so on.
If the sub categories exist for people to post their questions then maybe they'll get some answers and the whole thing'll snowball. Trouble is, if there's nothing here to begin with then no-one's going to come looking for answers.
Hang on - I think I just shot myself in the foot!

| Hi Wowbagger thanks for your input, adding new forums isn't a problem, but what I don't want is loads of empty forums, if there is enough of one kind of post I will create a separate forum for that and move the posts across, that way it builds up slowly, and I also agree with you people wont' come if the content isn't there, and the content isn't there is the people don't come, catch 22, but we have only been open a little over 5 weeks and have had well over 2000 visitors, what we need is those visitors to start posting
Once again thanks for the input all ways appreciated

| | Guest | Howdy Sonic. I see your point about empty forums but am glad they're easy to add so the site can be adaptive to the members needs. Let's hope things really get going then eh?! It looks good and works faster than most forums I'm on, so good luck with it. | |

| Hi Guys , I agree with everything said so far. How about making sure the site is known about by using the modelling press. RCM&E, R/C Flyer , Model Boats , Jet, Marine Modeller, RC Model World, etc . They sometimes publish sites of interest. By the way Wow, I`ll get a pic of the W-2 as soon as I repair the fin ( too much aft tilt ! ) See East Fortune Museum of Flight for another suitable non-Cierva. Cheers Duncan |

| Sonic ,Here is a couple R/C flying models contacts that run web page items. dbthomas@clubinternet.fr does Net Trawl in RC Model World. Dont worry about the French email ( think the lucky s*d lives there). Aviation Modeller International has Webwalk run by mikeevatt@hotmail.com Graham ashby is the editor of Radio control & Electronics magazine (01689 886677) . The group publish Silent Flight and R/C Scale Aircraft magazines, I`m sure Graham would put you in touch with those editors.. Duncan.
