One thing I think the site could really benefit from is VbAdvanced Links Directory:

We could then build up a directory of good website links and suppliers details and good model shops, and places of interest. We could then catagorize those links and build up a useful resource for the members to use. I know there are some posts on the forums for this kind of thing but some of that content takes a little time to find.

Also the software enables thumbnail images of website links which would probably make it easier to find what you're after.

Might be a bit more work for John to install it though - plus the Forum moderators would have some extra work on their plates too.

We already have this page that keep's getting updated http://www.scale-models.co.uk/view.p...ellersresource it's not in order but it's a start, if people think it's going to get used I don't mind buying it and installing it

other than apperence i cant tell much differece....appart from having to click on everything twice....thats quite annoying.

looks flash though.

john is upgrading to the new vbullitin still an option? i think you should bring it up again. as long as we dont loose all the galery pics im sure it will be ok.

I don't mind the extra work lol !!!

Most of the good suppliers/resources on here are already under one heading anyway...under Modellers Resource Materials Directory thread...it is a Sticky post in General Chit Chat on here and there are quite a few entries in there now too
