Hi i am building the Robbe U47 & need to know what size ESC, (amps.)
to buy does not tell you in instructions can anybody tell me.

Hi Welcome.

I believe it tells you to buy a Robbe Rokraft speedo in the instruction booklet, thats what they reccommend, but they are expensive...you can use a different make of speedo as long as you ensure the amp rating is above the motor current draw. MTRONIKS make good ones for 1/2 the price of the Robbe one, just get one that will be rated at about 25 amps and you should be ok...just fuse it to be on the safe side.

Thanks for reply i agree the Robbe esc is expensive, i was thinking of the
mtroniks esc only not sure which (amps) to buy. Thankyou.

Subzero says an ESC rated at 25amps and make sure it is a forward/reverse one and put an in-line fuse between the battery and the ESC to protect it from burning out and you should be ok
