      The 2 Man Kursk Group Build, AKA Stuart's T 34 / 76

Here we have it, 1/4 of my T 34 Stash. Started this on Sunday, wow what a level of detail inside for a 48th scale, includes blended PE/Styrene engine ventilator grill.

      Box

I started at the wrong end for a tank - at the top

The bang tube, um I mean the 76mm gun breech end
      [IMG]

Engine, 15 parts, just for the block

      Gearbox

Ammo cases and little bits glued into the forward end of the drivers compartment

Interior detail parts so far, 2 radiators, engine, gearbox and fan

I also have the suspension parts painted on the sprue. This is the 1st kit I've done that actually demands a lot of thought about the paint/install sequence, especially the interior. My aim is to get all parts of the major base colour (white) installed, spray, then detail paint, then detail installation.

      Comments welcome as always

You don't want in this thing, you don't get in this thing. I cut you out of everything. I don't need you. Sixty feet of bridge I can get almost anywhere. Schmuck!"

Thanks Scott.. Here is the crew compartment nearly there

      and the engine compartment

I have to say - the first impressions of the huge number of parts even only for the interior, is daunting and looks very complex, but if you are careful with the instructions and test fitting it is surprising how much these guys at Hobbyboss can cram into this small space, including full suspension coils, ammo cases, batteries, ammo racks for the 76mil and the 2 DT1926 machine guns! It's quite tiring at times trying to work out what to paint first and what to install first, but as far as I can tell, I only have the batteries, driver controls, driver and loader seats, MGs, rearmost bulkhead and exhausts to go in... Jeez is that all..... lol

By the way, the rear side panels and engine bits and pieces are not fixed in yet, only here for photo purposes!

That's a cracking T-34 interior, you gotta be well chuffed with it. Keep up the great work, looking forwrd to the completed tank.
      Cheers
