| My problems building the Tamiya 1/16th RC. One of the first problems I found was trying to make the upper hull sit correctly, the problem ended up been the fault of MD2 the 2x36mm adjustment screws for the tension pulley. they were to long, which made the speaker sit high so that the upper hull would not fit. I just fitted shorter screws.
To make it easier lifting and removing the upper hull, I left of C4, but still had a problem with B4 & B5 getting in the way, having only little movement, been restricted by D25 & D26. so I shortened B4, B5, to give easier access to the batteries and connectors.
I found, placing the on/off switch, under the loaders hatch, on the upper turret plate, Totally, useless, because, you can never remove the turret, as its attached to the DMD-T03 in the hull ??
I placed the on/off switch under the left hull hatch. which is wider, and more accessible, but attached to the lower hull.
plus you can take the turret completely off and even run without it. especially learning to drive it in the house???? and not damaging the barrel?
This one is a must, Do not glue your head lamps E11 into D3 & D4.
Attach/glue D3 & D4 onto the upper hull.
Leave E11 unglued, you can take them out when using the tank and the barrel will not keep hitting them.
