eBAY MUNTER STARTS TO TAKE SHAPE

as some of you will already know I am currently hopping up a couple of Tamiya King Tiger Tanks. One from ebay, ready built (Munter) and one i build myself.
The Ebay one was in a terrible state. After a full strip down, she is slowly coming together. So far I have added coil idler suspension, drive shaft supports, metal track and metal handles on all the hatches (made from spare track pins) and home made zimmerit. Slowly I am replacing all the bolt heads with real nuts and bolts
.
Scratch built gun cleaning rods, quite pleased that they actually fit together!!!!

My first attempts at spray painting!!! ...Stop laughing!!!

Home made Zim.

Protection against sticky-bombs and other magnetic " limpet" type explosives plus a certain amount of protection against armour piercing shell of the "scabbing" type. The ones that dont really go through the metal-plate but send a scab of molten metal off the interior wall into the crew compartment or other vulnerable part of the tank. Think of the last ball in a row of billiard balls being struck. Last one is the scab.
