| Accurate Armour Hi All,
Has anyone out there had any experience with AA's kits. There's a couple I fancy getting, (Foden 6x6 recovery truck and FV434) but att he price I'd like to know if possible what the kits are like etc.
Many thanks

| Not personally but I know a man who has had experience. If you look in the boats section of the gallery and find the Robbe U-47 kit with the Accurate Armour tower and guns.
I am reliably informed that it is a very nice kit and considerably more accurate than the original. There again there isn't a great deal of competition from the original!
The end result looks very good to me but I have to admit it is very expensive. |

That's the reason I really wanted to check out the armour stuff without buying first. 68 quid for the 432 isn't too bad I suppose but 150ish for the Foden needed thinking about.
Many thanks for the input,
regards

| | Guest | Anything made by AA is ELITE!!
The accuraracy is amazing, the kits themselves are very good, oftern mutlimedia and with little tidying to do. But then again for the price tag you would expect works of art!
You might also want to check out "cromwell models" as they do some really nice white metal armour/truck kits. |

| As with most things you get what you pay for and, from what I am told the quality of the resin parts and the fit is exellent.
Just have a look at the u-boat in the diorama with the quayside, stunning. I once saw the resin U-boat converted into a full hull RC model on Ebay. It went for 1600.00 pounds which wasn't actually too bad for what it was. |

| Thanks for the input to Cromwell Models Squiffy.
I thought 148 squids for the Foden 6x6 was expensive, but that sub tower beats everything. Mind you superb detail.
Regards
