1/16th scale diarama

we ( me and a pal ) have just done a second batch of 1 to 16th scale castings for use as a military backdrop / diarama, these are 4 sections of walling with sections of window frames and door frames that represent a bombed out building.....

originally we made these for his tamiya 1 to 16th sherman, as a dispaly diarama at shows but also a shelf dispaly area - somewhere to put the tank when it was charging !-

these sets are an ideal starting point and can be further detailed, and have suitable additions added , sandbags, debris, oil drums

the last sets were all sold via ebay, but before these are listed i thought i would let you folks know !

i will post some pictures in the next 48 hrs, but these are available either painted or unpainted- the diarama contains 4 parts of walling these can be arranged as a front to a building with returns or as 4 sections for use as stand alone sections......

- i will add photos in due course, but if you are interested in a set pm me....i am just trying to judge how many sets to make !!! - there is no bligation to buy !!!

i have had custom made double walled cardboard boxes made for transport, and these a solid chuncky castings !

sadly due to the weight postage is £8-00 in UK via royal mail parcels, costs of the walls depend on if you want plain or painted walls but i expect the cost of unpainted walls to be under £20

here are the basic set of walls, with a quick coat of paint applied....

we ended up mounting these walls onto an MDF base, added a cobbled street, and footpath, piled debris up against walls, added a few oil drums, sandbags, and ammo boxes and details such as an old street sign and job done !

unpainted set of the 4 wall sections £12
