Sorry for the delay, was up in Orkney, which if you are into really ancient history is well worth a visit.
I've a few pics of a 1/72nd airfix Sherman in my gallery, which still isn't finished yet.... Once I get round to finishing it off my next attempt will be a Panzer 4, so that'll a lot tougher than the sherman......

A truly eye opening experiance.
"Tomb of the eagles" was the best though, I've never touched 5000(ish) year old axes, bones or skull before!!
The Italian chapel isn't bad for a nissan hut either....

Hi Karlo,

First check it is the type of putty that wont melt the plastic (some do this) and secondly if it is the sort that dries hard.

If these 2 points are ok then there is no reason why you couldn't use it. you can create the zimmerit effect nicely whilst the putty is still soft and then allow it dry out and harden before painting.

Regards......Mark.

So how do you know how hard horse poo mixed with Loctite is? Do you make this mixture often? I haven't heard of it as a modelling medium before but I am happy to experiment with any medium.

Is it best fresh or dried?

Will cow poo do if you can't get hold of any horse poo?

.....or sheep poo?

I have this vision of you in the early hours of the morning blending various types with Loctite to get just the right consistency!!! LOL!
