There are quite a few threads on this subject as Richard suggests.

I use a mix of brown earth, bright orange and purple in varying shades.

If you use the search facility you will find that we have talked about this quite a bit over the months. See what there is in the forum already then you will maybe have some more specific questions to ask.

There have even been links posted to tutorial sites so have a good look around, there is a lot of usefull information.
