Pz 4 H 1/72

Hi there! I'm new on this forum and because i have been working at this model since august (and it's not finished yet) i thought your opinion might help.
I have already modified the schurtzens; they are rusty and not so straight now, but the photos were made before the modifications.
The kit is from Revell, an excellent one, but i made a few changes. My model is almost corect. The antena is also aded after the photos.
The tank is from the 3.rd Panzer Division in the winter of 1944. I didn't like the 221 number that Revell gave me. I thought that is too common and that's why you can't see all the decals yet. I hope you like it and i'm waiting for suggestions (mainly for the number) and opinions. I will add photos after it's ready and after i will know certanly wich number to pick.

Lovely weathering job. What have you used for the rust effect on the turret additional armour plate? It is very effective and you wouldn't know it was only 1/72nd. It would look good on a diorama with a 1/72nd scale plane such as a transport or troop carrier.

The model has 3 layers of paint.I use enamel paints. First metal, then 88 Revell, then white. I chopped the paint till the metal was visible where it should have been (talking about the additional plate of the turret). After that i drybrushed the plates with 83 Revell (which they call "rust" and i don't totally agree with that). At 1/72nd many parts that are not welded or that sould be mobile aren't given in this way, and that's why painting and effects are so so important in some areas. With effects you must equalize the quality of 1/48th or 1/35th. I have never done a 1/35th or 1/48th so i will just imagine the diference.

Also in some areas (which unfortunetly aren't very visible) i washed the turret with the same 83, but only there where it should be and not everywhere. Because of the low quality of the pics some areas might appear as rusted, but there might be actually the main color (88 Revell). Anyway, nothing complicated. It's the first winter camo i have ever done and i was afraid that the white layer is too thin and now it is too thick. So no pigments or anything similar, just paint. I thought of using red iron oxide, but i changed my mind.

The additional armor plate is waiting it's number and division simbols and that's why it has that large unpainted area.It will certanly be integrated in a diorama.

Initially i wanted to paint it in Romanian colors but there are only 3 (or something like that) pictures with Romanian Pz 4 H in combat. I didn't have enough info and that's very very sad for me. Anyway, i'm still waiting help for the number. I found one " I 03" from the 3rd Panzer Divison. I don't know how to paint the "I" at 1/72nd. Can you?

That's a nice piece of work, especially for 1/72 scale. I am not a tank builder, but it looks great!
