fine details reference help

hello all,
i am happy with what certain colours go where on my CVR (T) Scimitar but i am finding it hard to get inspiration for certain effects such as markings from the exhaust even where oil has leaked and mixed with the dust etc.
any photo's or help would be appreciated.

Howdy thunderace,

Ok, I did a quick search of google images for "CVRT SCIMITAR WALK AROUND" and came up with this link: http://www.primeportal.net/apc/dan_hay/scimitar/

This site has seven (7) pages of photos, each with approx 25 photos per page.
All of the photos appear to also be very large photos (almost full monitor screen) and will allow you to see the vehicle very well.
It includes close ups and "distant' shots of the machine. The photos cover all aspects of the machine from the tracks to the turrent. All of the photos seem to be of one single machine so this should be alot easier to decern detail in places that you might not be able to make out on mutiple vehicle pictures.

you the Man! i will have a good look at the site when i get home from work, really apreciate you going out of your way for me.
i managed to sneak another 2 more models away from the wife's prying eyes so i will hide them from her.
