1/16th Tamiya R/C Sherman

My Tamiya 1/16th 105mm Sherman, finished it about 2 years ago before I bought a laptop/got into cpu's etc

Took it outside for the first time in months, havn't played with this in a while so whilst it was out I took a couple of pictures to show you guys!

Its a Free French Sherman, very subtle weathering - dry brushing, light coats via airbrush of Deck Tan on the hull and tracks, nothing major.

I now have a partner for the Sherman, which was finished about 6 months ago - Tiger I!

Enjoy, comments welcome!

Nice weathering and the B&W shot shows it of superbly.

Have a look at some of the other 1/16th Tamiya stuff we have on here. They would make a pretty impressive tank squadron!

Awesome job on the weathering! My Sherman is in bits at the moment (getting it ready for paint stripping and respray for summer. I am a big fan of Tamiyas 1/16 tanks and the Sherman is a belter
A couple of tips on the Tiger 1(hope you dont mind) if you are going to dirt track her.

1. Remove the rear mudguards before you lose them
2. If you have metal tracks make sure you install gear down upgrades and drive shaft supports.
Your motors wont last 5 minutes without them (I learnt the hard way!)

Thanks for the comments guys

With regards to the Tiger I, she was finished about 6 months ago (will get pics!) and I didn't bother with metal tracks... I painted them red brown and once dry I went over them with gun metal on the 'used' or raised bits!

Looks quite good, pics tell more than words... bear with me!
