    Dukw

This kit was a Christmas pressie from my older sister, she asked me what I wanted, I said just by me a model kit from WWII as longs as its an armoured suprise in 1/35.

Well I was a very happy chap that day.

The kit is nice but it is very big, I forgot how big it is as I've actually been in one. The only down side is the numbers on each fret dont go A1 - A45 no they go A1 - C2 and so on
Gripe over would certainly recomend it as its different.

    Enjoy

That is a great looking kit, very nice. You have made a great job of the paintwork, it looks good and used without being over the top. The stores in the back look good to. I love unusual kits like this, thanks for sharing it.

Sickening, absolutely sickening, that's what it is.
I despair of ever reaching that standard!
Still one day, if I live long enough to get the practice in I may begin to approach this standard.
Ho,hum, back to trying to get a dark yellow basecoat over a black primer......

Top job Ade, nice to see something new on the block too. Lots to look at and plenty of bits for it as well...Did they come in the kit?

I'm going to be brave here so please don't shout at me anybody. The weathering is spot on..'sept do you think a bit of muck on the fenders is needed? There I've said it!!
    Keep 'em coming mate.

Hi ade , fantastic job well done. Lovely tones on the paintwork, ive always liked these since seeing one on skegness beach when i was a nipper.(no it wasnt during WW2 ,before any smart alecs chime in!!!!) It used to take people on rides down to the shoreline ,i remember it being painted blue and being quite big, anyone else remember this? cheers tony

I certainly do Tony, cannot remember the colour though, my memories are in black and white lol. I have seen one somewhere in the last 5 years but no matter how much I do head scratching, I cannot remember where. The Skegi one isn't still around is it?

EDIT, just remembered, it was in Liverpool, they do a tour of the waterfront and then drive(?) into the dock for a trip on the water. Bright yellow if I remember correctly. My later memorise are in colour, not necessarily the right colour but colour none the less.
