1/35 Italeri German Tiger I

While waiting for the oil paint weathering on my Chieftain to cure and dry, I started another build, this time a German Tiger I.



I hope to gather momentum, and complete this kit in 3 months time.

Not sure if to leave the engine cover open in the final finish, but I took small effort to make some detailing to the engine with some stretched sprues and masking tape. FYI, the details are not accurate at all, but it is added to make an otherwise plain engine as shown in the picture.




And lastly, after 2 months of packing, moving, unpacking, arranging, rearranging ... the following is my new cave, and after selling off some of my stash, this is all is left.

small progress...

pic 1 & 2 is a first layer of german tank yellow orchard.

pic 3&4 is another layer of german tank yellow orchard with 20% white in the mixture

pic 5 & 6 is further thinned down with 40% white.

End result...too light tone. will mist a layer of the yellow orchard nx airbrush session

Next stop.....Camouflage sessionnn...

Not satisfied with yesterday's result, I resprayed with more yellowish mixture of paint...

Both ways looked good to me Ryan, although the current one probably shades it as Dunkelgelb was a yellowish green.
