The Panther looks wonderfull - just the right amount of weathering too. I like the little bits of chipped paint on the edges of the turret and corners of the plates. Makes for a very realistic looking build!
Any more pictures to post?
weathering with just enough chipped paint effects to be credible and realistic.
If you are asking for suggestions I would only say try some decal techniques. You can see the edges quite clearly which is a shame as they then look like decals as opposed to a painted on ensignia.
Have a play with Micro-Sol and Micro-Set and experiment with some Johnsons Kleer floor polish. Do a search on here we have talked about these things quite a few times. If you get that right the decals will really look painted on and enhance the overall effect tremendously.
Welcome to the Forums and Thanks for the Pics, As a Panzer Fan myself, that certainly looks like a very fine model to me. Keep it up and keep the pics coming.
How did you achieve the chipped paint on the edges of the turret? I would like to try something similar.
weathering on that is just great. I love how you got the paint chipped. What did you use?. When i have done paint chipping in the past i have used copydex. Is that what you used?
