I used to build models 30 years ago. I'm starting again. I intend to build a 1/72nd scale desk top model of the attack on Gommecourt which was the only attack the Cheshire Regt was involved in on the 1st July. I acknowledge I will have to look at trench maps and war diaries to establish the general layout. Can anyone advise on the best figures to buy for this period. Airfix. ? I'm going to need quite a few so will be looking at eBay for cheap ones. Thanks in advance . I have a bit of time to build it but procurement has already started.
