If you're referring to artists oils then I would use Paynes Grey mixed with white for the troop carrier. For the uniforms I would use the same plus a little bit Sap Green or Terre Vert mixed with it. I won't give you any ratios because my reference pics might not be the same as yours. Best bet is to find the best quality photo of the two colours, print them and have the photos right beside you while you're mixing.
If you're refering to using an oil based enamel like Humbrol then for the troop carrier use # 32 Matt Dark Grey, or # 67 Matt Tank Grey and maybe throw in a drop or two of # 79 Matt Blue Grey. For the uniforms use # 111 Uniform Grey and vary the shades of it for each soldier as depending on the uniforms age + wear + dirt. uniforms were hardly ever the exact same colour.
For both the vehicle and uniforms use a dark wash to bring out the shadows and a light drybrush to bring out the high points.
