I hear the Trumpy Hurricane is better than the old Airfix. I look forward to seeing it.

Very nice Alan. Are you going to use the clear covers or just paint it?

Looking forward to it no matter what you do.

Looks a nice kit.And you even get seat belts with it.
Some of the surface detail is the best I've seen on a hurricane kit , :smiling3:

Tropical schemes always look good to me, and in this scale, should look really good. Nice choice Alan.

So are we sober yet, LOL

It will be interesting to see how this builds up against the Airfix offering.

I am but now I'm getting over a bout of insomnia Ian lol

I've read the instructions and taken a look at the most important parts ( engine & cockpit ) and I don't think their as good as the Airfix offering especially the instrument panel, all the buttons and dials are there it just looks a bit naff and flat maybe it's just down to scale

I'm very worried about the engine and if you can build the entire engine or not to show it off , I have read a couple of reviews and nothing was mentioned so hopefully it will be ok

Oh yes you will.Take a look at my Spitfire build (when I start it).The brass cannons look amazing.Airfix's kit supplied items are just plastic sticks!.

Rick is looking for some Hurricane instruments for his build. Maybe he could get in touch with you for a scan of that panel? http://www.scale-models.co.uk/threads/ricks-airfix-1-24-hawker-hurricane-mk1.29347/

Will watch the build, another Hurricane is always good to see. Looks like a nice kit.
