All the kits in this GB so far are fantastically interesting, I'd love to have a go at them all and I'm looking forward to watching as things progress

This is what I've chosen, a bit of an oddball to say the least. For those who've never seen one in action I'd recommend taking a look on Youtube and the like, it really does take a different approach from turreted MBTs

I'll wait until I start the build to decide whether it will need a turned barrel or any other extras. Anyone know where I can get 1970s Swedish tankers in 1/35...... no, thought not :ohno::lol

Oh great choice Andy! Quite funny fact, Stridsvogn = Battle wagon.

A very handy bit of armour designed to run rings around the big Russian tanks in woodland. A very cleaver way of aiming as well....Its all done with the wheels.

You might find this handy Andy. http://findmodelkit.com/content/strv-103-metal-gun-barrel-trumpeter-kit

Designed to dig down or hide in the undergrowth Ole. If I remember they are not much higher than a man is tall.

Yes it's a bit tight but it has an autoloader so has a crew of only 3

OK, so I've had a look at the kit and I decided to get the Eduard etch and the ally barrel was just so nice I had to get that too :smile1:

I'm working nights this week so I should get the build started soon

Apparently this is an early Trumpeter kit, it shows, there are plenty of visible ejection marks and the fit is a bit nasty in a few places

On the other hand some of the detail is nice, i especially like the Allen screw heads on hinges etc.

Progress made since the weekend

No, I couldn't find a photo of a "b" with the splinter pattern only a "C" and I'm not sure if I like the lurid light green they used either
