How the hell did i miss this build!! It's a Cent, i should of seen it first. All joking aside, looking good Bob. One thing though matey, the turret top didn't need filling. Thats where the top and bottom went together on the real tank. Why i know this? My dad drove Centurion too, 3rd Royal Tank Regiment 62 to 71. And i got into bother when i did the same to the one i built for him lol. And while i'm at it, you can fit the tracks both ways. As the box art shows they are for normal use (ie, the track pad facing upward seen from the front), but if you spin them around it gave better traction on rough ground (well, thats what my dad told me).

Anyways, if you need any help fixing a Cent i have a user handbook ;)

Cheers John. Good info on the turret, will bear that in mind for the 1/72 build. It shouldn't show on this one too much because of the turret basket and stowage. :smiling3:

Got back to work on this today, and had my first try at hairspray chipping. :smiling3:

Overall it went pretty well, although it's quite difficult to see as it's olive drab over a dark brown, other than the exhaust covers which had already been undercoated in rusty tones.

I realised I've not updated this thread for a while. I have been working on it, honest. :smiling:

I've spent a lot of the last 2 weeks waiting for stuff to dry. It's had oil filters, dot filters, pin washes and streaking. Unfortunately not much of it seems that obvious in the pics, maybe it will after the matt coat??
