Finally got this one done, it kept getting pushed aside because of other builds.

It's mostly OOB other than some firestorm resin stowage which also came with a small amount of PE.

Somewhat clichéd, but it's finished in Vietnamese red mud dust.

It was just the string that came with the kit, some sort of nylon iirc.

I relaised this morning as I was sat in a traffic jam on the M25 that I'd forgotten to add the aerials, so will need to do that at some point.

I really like what I see here Bob - and the use of Vietnamese red mud dust was very cunning, and realistic looking!!!
I've not seen that pigment/wash before... Gave me ideas! ;)

Excellent work!!! :smiling3:

It was this pigment

MVIMG_20180226_210650.jpgMVIMG_20180226_210658.jpg

I applied it with a dry brush, really scrubbing it in to the texture of the plastic. I then went over it with a brush dipped in odourless thinners, most of which is taken off on a paper towel (a la dry brushing).

It's the same technique I used on the Bradley and gives a nice dry dusty effect.
