Heres my entry for the WW1 themed group build , the 1/144 scale Sopwith Pup by Valom  , build thread can be found here -





The aircraft represented flew from  the aircraft carrier HMS Furious in 1917 , sqn commander Dunning making the first ever landing of an aircraft on a moving ship in N6453 , sadly he was killed in a crash in a different pup a few days later .thanks for looking all comments criticisms observations etc welcome , cheers tony

wow Tony ,thats great so much detail,and very nice clean build for some think so very small,very well done, :D

Thanks monica ,i'm fairly pleased with how its turned out , although i would have liked to get the rigging a bit tauter but at this scale its virtually impossible just using single lengths , cheers tony

What a wonderful finish you have achieved with this little model.


I think the rigging looks great and the woodgrain on the prop. :smiling3:

Great Job Tony. I fight rigging a 1/48 and you nailed this one at 1/144. Hope your have some eyesight left!
