Well I've been and gone and done it I've bought some modern armour and associated goodies, though the PE looks challenging  :S  I think I'll get a crew at some point.

There's no white star on the decal sheet  :o !.

Not the best light but hopefully good enough I'm no expert on these things but they look good I'm sure lots of swear words will accompany their build up.

Right O it must be time to build a model, after the house move and the the huge amount of blinds, shelves, curtains, etc.etc. that has followed I'm getting a few minutes a day to myself.
But I've got a model room and have about got it straight enough to get a few little bits of my own done. I got a little done this morning but as the sun has come out I am off out to change the plugs leads and coil on the better half's car.

All the spru and PE!

I've started with the PE it's a steady job but some of the parts are just to small but I'll do what I can i already have a couple of bits of skin missing hurrah for acetone.

use a very small drill bit as a roller on a hard surface and once it starts to bend use your tweezers to pull them into shape

They are difficult aren't they Dave, but with a bit of patience it can be done, and they do look a lot better than the ones on the kit. I did it on my Scorpion build.

I've read somewhere that if you heat them gently (open flame I think), not too much, mind you. This will soften the metal and allow you to shape it more easily.o_O

There are also sticky sticks or something like that, that have a tacky end to pick up small PE bits. Too tacky and they are a pig to use.

I think all the brass is about done but I'll have a break and get the last of the plastic bits on then a coat of primer to see all my naff glue marks then sanding.
