Still waiting for my 'donor kit', but going well I should have inside the next 24 hours a nice and very cheap 1/48 SPAD to cut up :smiling3: Much inspiration to be had from the various clips online and from the builds going on here. Will report back when the base kit is acquired!

Missed out on the Spad, people went crazy on the auction. Have found some 1/72 Academy WW1 aircraft, I think I have a plan together to butcher two to create a catcher...

Sorry to hear about the Spad Joe, but looking forward to what you have to offer later.

Hi Joe
I remember the programme fondly. Dastardly and Muttley always failing but never giving up - days of good TV for children :thumb2:
Glad you got a Spad. 1/72 will just make things a bit more fiddly. This will be fun to follow.

A 'Beefed up' engine to keep up with the pesky pigeon once lured, a hole for the pigeon trap arm, and a bird seed sprayer attached to the top wing.

Excellent stuff Joe ! The spad really lends itself to this Gb doesnt it , the scalloped trailing edge is very cartoon like already. Loving the souped up engine! i sense the pesky pigeons days are numbered ! cheers tony
