Hi all.

This is a paintwork that I’ve been doing those last days.

It was just weathering a Diesel Locomotive Class 212 and three good wagons by Fleischmann.

I was looking for a really “weathered” set....and here is the final result.

I must admit, as well, that I’ve never weathered at this tiny size before, all the set is at Scale N (1:160)

A photo as a size reference.

Much much better than the out of box look of the original, the weathering makes all that lovely detail stand out. :smiling3:

I was looking at locks and general rolling stock last week on a trip to London, struck me that dirty is a fixed norm, with utterly filthy as a common state for ALL rolling stock. This makes it a bit daft to see so many layouts with squeaky clean stuff. When you consider how straightforward it is to weather a unit, I'm amazed it isn't the latest craze. Even a couple of simple washes and a bit of streaking would totally transform most people's layouts.
