Thank you Steve, Ian and Monica !
I think I'm slowly getting somewhere as I slapped on a bit of drying mud (pigments, acrylic resin, plaster, water, mixture added to the model with tooth picks), a tadd of dust pigments and subtle metal effects. Next time I'll try to get this baby Sherman done, for example the tracks need more attention, more dry pigments will be applied for extra depth in the model...

I think it's almost done now, just a bit more chipping to do.

Btw you should compare the last two photos I've added, they're both made outside, the first in the afternoon, the last in the evening. The difference is remarkable !
