That's a cracking subject for this G.B.

Very well chosen. You will be able to mount the aircraft on it's wing tip without seeing 'The join'! lol

Remember though we have loads of time so don't rush it and there's certainly no need to worry about being, as you put it, slow.....

Just enjoy the build.

Good luck with it.

Cheers,

Ron

Good start Ian and a top subject. I'm still waiting for the postman to deliver my kit but I reckon three months should be long enough.

That's off to a good start Ian. Will you be including the whole carrier or just the bit we can see? :lol

Last I heard, this one was up for sale.

USS Enterprise CVN-65 by Gabriel Suranyi

Failing that, you could also scratch build your own. Mind you, that might be tricky given the time limit!

Ian. You have my full permission to go a head with the project. HOWEVER I insist on a full build log and exclusivity to the scale models forum!!!!

That Enterprise is mind blowing isn't it- I have heard a rumor of one in 1/48 scale!!!!

:guilty:Thanks Ian i was hoping you would say rules are rules but it may be one for the future
I only said yes so I can see how its done, I have a couple of 1/48 Seafires and would love to do a Carrier deck section as a base for them.

Have fun. and remember that you only have until September 2031.
