Hi all got this for a birthday prezzy View attachment 40490 so i'm going to use the Lancaster out of it View attachment 40491 View attachment 40492 View attachment 40493 The Lancaster's going to be shot down in a field ( think this theme may come up a lot in this GB ) After a successful bombing raid so at least theres some plane left

Nice one Ian, but you're not going to trash a perfectly good model....are you?lol

The Sukhoi would be easy to do, just get a grassy dio. base and empty the contents of the box onto it. No need to glue anything together....Job done!

I would off gone for the Lancaster as well. The thought of making and painting 10000 figures for the crowd at an air-show would drive me nuts!

Joking aside I can also envisage a few crashed aeroplanes turning up in this SIG.

I will be watching this one go down.......get it, go down. crash, oh never mind.

Hi Aaron Well i would say TRYING to do a wrecked Lancaster this may take the full 6 months to complete

Hi all started it today View attachment 41023 View attachment 41024 Because its a crashed Lancaster and part of the inside will be seen, I started to put the framework onView attachment 41025 started by marking where the spars go in pencil View attachment 41026

Then the frame spars View attachment 41027 View attachment 41028 got the cross spars to put on but its a start

i cheated doing mine i used PVA glue,covered the window bits let it dry painted it the took PVA off.
