Calling this one finished, the first photo show's out of the box, the rest show's after a little scratch building.

Hope you like & all comments welcome good or bad.

Really been looking forward to the final reveal of this John and I am not disappointed. Cracking build and amazing paint, glad you went with the flames too, they look spot on.

A nice big beast with lots of chrome, nicely finished. Are you going to hutch a trailer on it?

Hi Steve, yep the trailer is almost finished, but sorry to say it won't be ready for my local competition on Monday.

I have sprayed it the same as the truck but fading it into Gloss Black.

Just got to flatten the paintwork then apply decals then Gloss lacquer it & Bob you'r Uncle.

By the way when you see the trailer attached to the truck you will see why the airline's are so long.

That's an absolute cracker! How did you get the chrome done? Is it just carefully done from the box or did you strip the original and re-chrome?

Hi Dave, it's very carefully done from the box. the chrome on the windows, bonnet strip & all chrome on the trailer are done with chrome foil.

John.

Couldn't do that with this one I don't think. There's just too much flash - especially on the thinner parts like the arms for the mirrors.

I think this kit has new molding's so there was very little flash, I'm glad to say lol.

Good luck with you'r build, (I'll be watching ).
