Pete, excellent to have you back, thank you for your support, hope we can return the same for you when required.
Build is coming on great and I, and others have missed your posts, so keep it up, as long as your happy . Pm me if you want.

Nb hope that brass propping up the whippet is spent..lol

The brass hardwear came from Slapton Sands about 200 yds from the Sherman Tank memorial. A mate found them last year in the sand and they where probably used in the ill-fated Exercise Tiger the practice site for the D-Day landings.
I've just cleaned them up for my collection.

Yes I know.
Pete.

Nice.. I see a couple of the primers are still intact, hope they've rusted out, don't want them popping your tracks off after all the time spent building up... Lol

Hi there safe 70+ year's in sand & saltwater did the trick, as for the popping I'm get to the stage where I can't help it (it's a age thing).:tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy:

Wow, the extra detail going into this looks excellent. Great detective work.

Great work Pete :thumb2:

Minor observation - the left side canvas doesn't have the nice curve and sag that the right side one has. Bit of a kink in it towards the rear as well

Stunning work Peter. A really good example of miniature engineering. Very impressive. Good luck with the wet stuff. Have you decided on a colour scheme yet?

I know it's primer, but it does like quite ominous in black.
