Nice one! If it was me I would consider cutting those huge decals into sections along the lines of the patterns...

Peter,
what ever you do, do not follow the paint guide for the black leading edge of the wings. If you do it will leave you short and you'll see orange between the black edge and decal.
I painted the black twice as deep to make sure the decals went over the area. I ended up having to use three sets of decals in the end to get it right, see my build and heartache on here somewhere :smiling3:
I have the decals scanned onto my PC as Revell won't send out replacements anymore due to it been an out of production kit now

I have this kit also and personally witnessed Adrian's battle with the decals. On the basis of this the box as been double taped and but into a safe place till a later date. I'm sure with some careful thoughtful preparation everything will be fine. Ade might even give you the measurements for the tapered paint on the wings. Good luck hope it goes well for you Peter cheers John

Shiny sticky gloss black paint work, and a cat hiding in the back ground just waiting to shed a hair or two.

Now got the thing finally painted and I hope that I have got the black on the leading edge the right width.

Looks very nice Peter. However, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that stbd main gear is either on the wrong side or is back to front.

It must be spring, people are starting to spray outdoors. But yes, the black and orang looks really good.
