I was in my loft this morning looking for something or other, when I cma across some figures and a small dio., forgotten and slowly disintegrating. Staring at the collection, I came up with a bit of fun idea.

A group of German soldiers are creeping through the rubble of a smashed house when they nearly run into three Russian soldiers.
I know it's a bit fanciful, and I realise the building is French and has Auberge written on the wall, but it was good fun composing the 'situation' from forgotten plastic! So please be gentle, as it really is just a bit of relaxed re-cycling......:smiling3:

Thanks Dave.

A highly unlikely scenario, but apart from the presence of the French building, I would think such things did happen - somewhere.

Thanks for the post.

Hi Ron yes as you have pointed out its little foibles and fanciful ideas but let's be fair and honest here eh
These situations took place quite a bit I'm sure as no side really drew up battle lines in the thickness of war so this is quite a plausible way it could have happened and for the advertisement on the building the French get everywhere in war and ( do little else than cause trouble for others to mop up their mess
Oops sorry wrong war??

Kind regards

Robert

It always amazes me how you manage the composition of your dios. The poses of the figures in particular are practically set while they're still in the box, but you manage to get them looking perfectly natural.

Another little gem!

Thanks everyone for your excellent comments - let's just hope no-one sneezes in the dust of the rubble!
