Sevans 1\5 Classic Dalek

I couldn't wait to get my paws on this one I got off a certain auction site I won't say how much I paid for it (it wasn't cheap) but I had been saving for a while.
This totally different from my other dalek being and early one it has more parts and two heads here some pics

Already got one I done him back last year

A quick insight to the differences between early and later mouldings.
The later ones were more simple in construction the first part is the skirt construction.
Most parts have to be trimmed to fit.
And the bottom PIC is the later build.

Next update and sorry it's quick I have finished the lower base.
And I have show some of the work that has gone into which involves sanding some angles into the panels and removing the dimples on the spheres.
The last PIC shows the differences between the newer mould on the right and the older one on the left

That's the skirt finished with still needs a bit of touching up but overall its done.

Got some more work done I have started on the shoulder section which is In three parts I will be doing the middle section which needs filling on the sides.
Also I started on the dome the lights have a small mini bulb inside and I have left them clear and I have not glued them in as it will make it easyer for repainting.

Love the daleks always have ( I remember them on b/w tv and they did scare me as a child but they have evolved as do have I
I don't think my wife would let he start a collection so I'll just have to drool at the fantastic creations made on here

This is the last build update I have almost finished the shoulder section which is in three parts and the kit supplied fabric mesh has been substituted for wire mesh from a kitchen splatter guard.
