Thanks Ralph.
Thanks Ian, I'm quite chuffed with the red finish. Considering it was with a brush. A couple of coats of aerosol Lacquer should see it ok.
Even more impressive to say it's brush painted. Top work Peter and when the lacquer goes on and it's all shiny it will look even better.

It's had a couple of coats of clear gloss........... and "bugger" it's wrinkled some of the red in a couple of places. Not too drastic but I need to flat it down and repaint some. Ho hum.........

 I'm going to have to try to get a replacement set of decals for this. They are breaking up wicked when I try to apply them. Not sure what's wrong with the buggers but they just sort of crumble. Never come across that before. I'm kind of stuck without them as there are some very long pinstripes for the bodywork and judging by the few small decals I've tried so far that isn't going to happen.:mad::mad::mad:

Aweslme, love the red, all shiney and red.
Thanks Ken. Not bad for a brush job. A bit of a crisis with the lacquer but I rescued it and it`s all shiny again...... I will be masking up for the black at the weekend........ I think that`'ll be a challenge.

A bit more progress with this .......... Finished what was supposed to be metallic black, But it looks like a dark Gunmetal to me. Anyway, I'm reasonably happy with the finish. I lost count how many coats of red, Gunmetal and lacquer I did, flatted down between each one. All brush painted. Front forks are done. I need to paint and fit the radiator / oil cooler before they go on............. Then there is a "Plethora" (good word huh?) of itty bitty detail bits to do brfore it all goes together.
