Good evening all, here is an update so far, big dead red has had a gunk wash, I brushed on raw umber oil paint and wiped it all off using a lint free cloth hope you like it so far and as always all comments are most welcome good or bad.WP_20170115_019.jpg WP_20170115_020.jpg WP_20170115_021.jpg WP_20170115_022.jpg

Sorry Scott I missed this one somehow.
You have done some great work here the big red looks awesome, nice colour and damage.
Was thinking way back of trying one of these but didn't know if the kits would be any good and which type to get for the best quality.
Great job you are doing Scott

Hi Stuart, if you are seriously looking to have a go at a Gundam kit then go to Amazon uk, I would recommend buying a 1/100 scale Master Grade or MG... this will appear at the top of the box. The Master Grade kits come with a full internal frame that allows excellent movement of the figure and lots of weapons, if you are interested take a look at the sci-fi section and my building of the Gat-x105 mobile armour suit. This is a 1/100 scale Master Grade kit, you can buy these pieces for around £30-40, however the newer MG kits can cost more also have a look at the latest acquisitions page which will show another MG kit I received the other day this cost £37.00. I love them just totally different from what I usually build and I think they look cool.... lots of diorama opportunities, hope you go for it, if you do please post the pictures and if you have any problems whether in the choosing or building don't hesitate to PM anytime.

Cheers Scott that's a great help to me as I am a bit lost with these kits think I may go with one after my farmhouse build.
I will take a look thanks for the info mate

Good morning to all, I have had to revise this diorama as my original idea just wasn't working so I have built up some trees in 1/100 scale and added a couple of people for scale. There is more to do, iam adding more figures and they all need painted hope you like the revised piece so far .....stay tuned more to come.WP_20170219_002.jpg WP_20170219_003.jpg WP_20170219_004.jpg WP_20170219_005.jpg WP_20170219_006.jpg
