I am almost there the under carriage is on took a few goes to get them to set and the prop is on (temporary) and all is nearly ready for some paint

As it's been nearly two years since I looked at this one time to update the progress.
And this is the state it's in I did put some paint on but as it's been a long time the decals have gone missing and the undercarriage has collapsed.
So until I can find the missing decals it is officially permanently abandoned.

As I have lost the original decals I will be carrying on but I will be using it as a test bed for roundel masks so I have changed the green to the correct Colorado and have masked off for the underside grey.

After a few days of masking and painting has now produced what you see below baring in mind it's only a test bed for the roundel masks.

A little update I have had my first try a painted on roundels and I am pleased with the results.

Very nice paintjob Peter, the invasion stripes and roundel are much better looking than decals.

I did try using a circle cutter but it didn't quite work.

Time for another quick update this time I am trying the letters first of all I had to spray a block of colour in the invasion stripes and apply the masks and spray 8n the correct colour and finally the reveal.

That's it for the moment as I still have to find my missing decals.
And as for the painted on letter's and roundels I think they look good but will get a bit of getting used to.
