Here is my finally completed Academy 1/72 French Naval "Aero Naval" Super Etandard of the carrier Clemenceau.

Generally a very nice litthe (and cheap) kit with good recessed detail, except for the main gear doors that didn't fit well and the very off register decals (I used spare roundals)

All paints humbrol - airbrushed on.

PS. I know the underside post shading is a tad on the heavy side, but better than the pure white with no detail LOL!

Hi theuns , fantastic job! Ive always thought its a very nice looking aircraft and not very often seen modelled. The underside shading looks perfect to me. 5 star job , cheers tony

Thanx mate, yes I also love the lines that Dassault come up with, just look at the Mirage 3 series!

I specifically did the French Aero Naval sceeme as most of the models I have seen are done in the Argintine Naval sceem of the Falklands era.(granted it may be more historic)

Interesting that the naval planes have only one upper roundal ,yet the air force has two.
