well guys I have finished the as90 it is a nice kit and a bit more modern for me , I built her out of the box and added the tarps - made from blue roll dipped in white glue and a few cans /boxes from the spares box , i made the beacon from clear sprue and painted it with Tamiya clear orange . the paint was nato green and black with washes from wilder/ak and mig , it is not perfect but im happy with it .


by the way its BIG !

Gave a GB {rarely given} subtle weathering along with scratched up tarps and a simple but accurate board all add up for me Great Stuff! Jim;)

Great joB Steve, that looks very convincing.


Laurie, I think Blue Roll refers to a type of toilet roll paper. Great idea that, dipping it into PVA and setting it into shape.
